The Junior team had a good start to the Junior A Championship with a victory over Davitts on saturday last last in Ballindine. Westport started the game welln and were 5 points to 3 up at half time. in the 2nd half it took a goal from Conor Walsh with 5v minutes to go to kill off the game. Best for Westport on the day was Mark Mc Caffrey, Conor Walsh and Pat Conway. Westports next outing is this Wednesday the 07th July in the Junior B Quater Final at home to Achill throw in is at 8-00 pm.
