Westport Under 14A played Moy Davitts on Wednesday evening at home.  The Westport girls went out with only one thing on thier minds and that was to win, and this was very evident in the first half as Aoibheann Lally in Westport Goals had barely touched the ball.  It was the same story in the second half even though Moy Davitts got some scores back.
Final Score Westport 8-14  Moy Davitts 1-06.

Westport Under 14B played Hollymount at home also on Wednesday evening.  It was a tough match for the girls as Hollymount boast 4 county players on thier team,
and westport girls were unable to control them.
Final Score Westport 2-00  Hollymount 16-05

Westport Under 16 Ladies
Division 1 – Round 2 – Played 21/05 . Westport U16 had another great win when they travelled to Louisburgh on Monday evening, The Home side were the better team in the 1st half & well ahead with a score of 02-04 to 01-01, A goal from Fiona Groden & a point from Loaise Kelly bringing us to the half time whistle. After the half time Chat Westport knew they had to work to do as Louisburgh are no easy team to beat. Goals from Lauren Burke & Kirsten Walsh seem to settle Westport back into the game but 3 more from Nicole Gannon put Westport well ahead & last but not least Shona Browne having her say with a classy Goal. The 5 points of the 2nd half were shared between Loaise, Kirsten getting 2 a piece & one from the ever hard working Lauren Burke. The backs were also more focused in the 2nd half only allowing 3 points over with excellent play by Full Back Erin Rowley.
