Sean, a chara,
As part of this year’s property insurance renewal negotiations, Insurers have requested that we provide them with sums insured for each club
We now attach a schedule of the clubs in your county and would appreciate if you could provide us with this information by 23rd February 2012.
The following key points should be noted.
1. Reinstatement Values
Clubs are required to insert a specific amount in the relevant column which in turn represents the Reinstatement Value.
Reinstatement Value is the cost of completely re-building your property (less the value of the site), including architects and surveyors fees. It is important to note that the Reinstatement Value is the figure for which your property should be insured, rather than its market value.
2. Contents/Loss of Revenue Insurance
The property insurance programme automatically provides the following additional cover:
* Contents cover up to 25% of the building sum insured
* Loss of revenue cover up to 25% of the building sum insured.
Example
Buildings Reinstatement Cost – €200,000
Contents Sum Insured up to – €50,000
Loss of Revenue up to – €50,000 (12 month indemnity period)
If higher levels of cover are required you will need to advise.
Please complete and return by 5.00 pm on 23rd February.
Is mise,
Sinéad
